The cost and compliance calculator is based on the Net Zero Framework approved by MEPC 83 resolution. This calculator can help you analyze the annual compliance costs and potential surplus income for different fuels. The main contents of the IMO Net Zero Framework are as follows: 1.Emission Calculation Basis: Using the full life cycle emissions of fuel as the basis for calculation, with a reference value of 93.3 gCO2eq/MJ (Well to Wake) for the average GHG intensity of marine fuels in 2008. Targets are set as follows: 2030:Base Target - 8% reduction; Direct Compliance Target - 21% reduction; 2035:Base Target - 30% reduction; Direct Compliance Target - 43% reduction. 2.Compliance Prices:The price for Direct Compliance Units is set at USD 100/ton CO2eq.The price for Base Compliance Units is set at USD 380/ton CO2eq. Prices for 2031 and beyond will be determined separately by IMO. 3.Compliance Paths:Transfer surplus units from other ships or use stored surplus units or purchase compliance units by paying into the IMO Net Zero Fund. 4.Establishment of the Net-Zero Fund:Vessels using zero or near-zero (ZNZ) fuels are eligible for financial rewards if: The GHG intensity (GFI) is below 19 CO2e/MJ before 2035; The GFI is below 14 CO2e/MJ from 2035 onward.
Customer acknowledges and agrees that:
（1）The Cost and compliance calculator Software，including the Documentation for each Software, and any information about the Software which Customer obtains through any means of electronic transmission, contain proprietary information of CCS, and are protected under Chinese copyright laws, other applicable copyright laws, other laws relating to the protection of intellectual property, and international treaty provisions;
（2）The entire right, title, and interest in and to the Software, the Documentation, any information Customer obtains through any means of electronic transmission, and all associated intellectual property rights, shall remain with CCS。
（3）The Software are licensed, not sold, and title to each copy of the Software shall remain with CCS, and shall not pass to Customer。
（4）CCS retains all rights not expressly granted.
Customer shall have no right hereunder to receive, review, use or otherwise have access to the source code for the Software.
Customer agrees and acknowledges that CCS will collect Usage Data and that all Usage Data shall be owned by CCS and deemed CCS Proprietary Information. Customer agrees not to alter or interfere with the collection by CCS of accurate Usage Data.
Customer may not decode, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, reverse compile, or otherwise translate the Software or Documentation except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by CCS.
Software piracy is illegal and CCS reserve the right to take all legal steps to stop piracy of their software and pursue those who take part in these activities.
THE COST AND COMPLIANCE CALCULATOR SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED TO CCS CUSTOMERS FREE OF CHARGE STRICTLY FOR NON-COMMERCIAL PURPOSES. CCS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY AND ALL CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM THE CUSTOMER'S USE OF THE SOFTWARE, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY. CCS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES, OR ANY OTHER SERVICE OR MATERIALS WILL MEET CUSTOMER'S REQUIREMENTS, BE FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE. CCS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EITHER STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES AGAINST NON-INFRINGEMENT AND THE ACCURACY OF THE CALCULATION RESULTS AND SATISFACTORY QUALITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CCS BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, DAMAGE TO REPUTATION, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, COSTS OF LOST OR DAMAGED DATA OR DOCUMENTATION, COSTS OF DELAY, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF THE NATURE OF THE CLAIM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF USE, INABILITY TO ACCESS ONLINE SERVICES OR ANY FAILURE OR DELIVERY OR LIABILITIES TO THIRD PARTIES ARISING FROM ANY SOURCE.
